Energy Bars in the UK: How to Choose (and Where STAT Stands)

Searching for energy bars in the UK usually turns up two extremes: sugary cereal bars on one side and chalky gym bars on the other. This guide covers what to check on a UK label before you buy, how caffeine guidance works here, and an honest note on where STAT currently ships.

STAT ships within the contiguous United States only right now — we are not yet available to UK addresses. If you would like STAT in the UK, join our list and we will email you if that changes. Join the list

Allergens: Contains milk and soy. Some flavours contain peanuts or tree nuts.

Energy bar in a work bag during a long UK shift

    1. Read the back-of-pack table, not the front

UK packaging carries a per-100g and per-serving nutrition table by law, so you can compare two bars in seconds. Look at protein, sugars, and fibre per bar rather than per 100g — bar weights vary a lot.

For reference, each STAT Bar lists 16-19g of protein per bar depending on flavour, alongside dietary fibre and real cocoa or coffee.

    2. Caffeine should be printed in milligrams

In the UK, food and drink with more than 150mg of caffeine per litre must carry a caffeine warning, and UK guidance advises pregnant women limit caffeine to 200mg a day. A bar that hides its dose makes that impossible to manage.

Every STAT flavour states 100mg of natural caffeine — roughly one cup of coffee — so it slots into a day's total without guesswork.

    3. Fibre matters as much as protein

UK dietary guidance recommends 30g of fibre a day, and most adults fall short. A bar carrying real dietary fibre does more for a long day than one built on syrup.

STAT combines whey and milk protein with dietary fibre and botanical ingredients rather than a sugar-first formula.

    4. Shelf-stable and pocket-sized

NHS shift workers, site crews, and commuters all keep bars in a locker, a jacket, or a bag for days at a time. Anything that melts or crumbles will not survive the week.

STAT Bars are single-wrapped and shelf-stable, sized for a scrub pocket.

    5. Where STAT ships today

We currently ship within the contiguous United States only, so a UK order is not possible yet. We would rather say that plainly than take an order we cannot fulfil.

If you are UK-based, add your email through our contact page and we will email you if that changes. In the meantime, the product, ingredient and nutrition pages here describe the same bar we would sell in the UK.

Not yet. STAT currently ships within the contiguous United States only. Join our list through the contact page and we will email you if that changes.

Each STAT bar contains 100mg of caffeine, roughly one cup of coffee. UK guidance advises pregnant women limit caffeine to 200mg per day; other adults should count the bar toward their daily total.

Check the per-bar column of the nutrition table for protein, sugars, and fibre, confirm the caffeine content is printed in milligrams, and read the ingredient list for real cocoa, coffee, nuts or oats rather than syrups and coatings.

No. STAT bars are food products, not dietary supplements. They are manufactured under FDA food regulations and labelled with a Nutrition Facts panel.

Prices on this site are shown in US dollars because we currently ship inside the United States. We have not confirmed UK pricing.
